MOD #11: Interior Seating

A conversation I had with my good friend Nick J., in which I was telling him how I want to get black and red seat covers and he stopped me in my tracks and said to check out Katzkin, an automotive custom upholstery company. I immediately fell in love with one of their black and “Salsa” (they call it) that I couldn’t help but make the investment.

They even matched the center console – an unexpected surprise.

The install was done by their installers at Arizona Sun Tops located at 408 E. University Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85004 (Downtown Phoenix).

I paid extra for them to swap out my seat heaters, for air condition and heating (dual purpose).  Unfortunately it meant that they had to install their own switches too…

… making the prior heating buttons absolute.  I’ll have to find some secret remote to program to it for something cool. LOL

COST:  $2,319.27 for the custom leather interior + $1,961.22 for the heating/cooling unit.  (TOTAL: $4,280.49)

This by far was the largest purchase on this project – but well worth it.  Nick J., you hit the nail on the head with this one buddy.  Great recommendation!!
